Why the water hose timer doesn't work, or the screen doesn't display? Check the battery condition. The timer is ONLY powered by 4*AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries (not included). Do not use rechargeable lithium batteries or a mix of old and new batteries, as this may cause a malfunction.
The valve will not shut off or flow out? 1) Turn the dial to AUTO. 2) Press the "Manual" button to enter Manual Watering, set for 5-7s watering time, and press "OK" to run. 3) Turn the dial to OFF to stop watering. 4) Repeat the above steps a few times until the water valve is normal.
The hose faucet inlet/outlet leaks? 1) Make sure the faucet/garden hose connector is US NHT 3/4". 2) Ensure the washer is installed correctly in the inlet. 3) Verify the inlet is connected correctly to the faucet. 4) Strengthen the connection with teflon tape.
