The Temperature and Humidity Sensor Lite boasts a minimalist design with dimensions of 2.21 x 0.5 x 2.21 inches, equipped with a 3M-rated adhesive backing for versatile placement options such as on walls, tables, doors, and more.

To factory reset the sensor lite, long press the reset button for 5 seconds until the LED light turns solid red, release the button, and the LED light will turn fast blue blinking, indicating it enters Zigbee pairing mode.

The sensor lite has a two-year battery life under normal usage conditions. However, it may sometimes become unresponsive or go offline. To address this, place the sensor near the smart hub/bridge/smart speaker during pairing or software OTA update, and ensure it is within 12 meters from the Zigbee hub. Using a Zigbee plug as a repeater can also extend the Zigbee signal range.

To add the Temperature and Humidity Sensor or Sensor Lite to Apple Home, first pair the sensor to the smart bridge MZ1, then add the Third Reality Smart Bridge MZ1 to your Apple Home according to the bridge's instructions. Ensure your iPhone and Apple speaker are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

To add the edge driver in SmartThings, scan the QR code in the quick start guide, download the user manual, and follow the instructions to install the SmartThing driver. Note that a Zigbee Hub is required and sold separately.

The Temperature and Humidity Sensor Lite utilizes high-quality sensors from the industry-leading manufacturer, Sensirion, with a refresh rate of every 5 seconds, ensuring accurate temperature and humidity readings. It offers ±0.3°C accuracy in temperature from -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F) and ±2% in humidity from 0-100%. This product is designed exclusively for indoor use.

The device can be used to automate your home's climate control, set alerts for extreme temperatures, and activate HVAC or fans when the temperature reaches your set threshold. Humidity-based routines, such as activating a humidifier when the humidity falls below 40%, can be managed via compatible smart home apps like SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Hubitat.

With its simple design and 3M-rated adhesive backing, the Temperature and Humidity Sensor Lite can be placed anywhere, including the basement, greenhouse, pet house, wine cellar, or even a baby nursery to monitor a humidifier or thermostat. Only 2 AAA batteries are required for at least 2 years of normal use, thanks to its ultra-low power consumption.
